This place is amazing! Food is fresh and steamy hot! The service was awesome. My 10 yr old daughter rated this restaurant 5 out of 5!

Great menu. Fresh and tasty for both breakfast and lunch. Something on the menu for the whole family. Service is solid.

Very clean, the decor was beautiful. The waitress were nice and patient with us...we sat outside being that the inside was close for the Pandemic.The food is amazing...we will definitely go back.

My husband and I are here almost every weekend and the staff and food is amazing! Everybody there works so hard and they always aim to please! It's a quaint place that makes you feel like home!

Short Stacks provides a simple, clean, hometown eating experience. Hannah, Kirsten, and all the crew are friendly, efficient, and attentive to your needs. The food is flavorful including the option for local grass fed organic eggs. I enjoy the community counter experience. Love this place!

I love this place! Feels like a country diner with decor to match. Friendly staff, delicious food, and generous portions. I had the eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits & gravy. My wife had a croussaint with egg, bacon, and avocado, which I tried and liked as well. I'll be back soon.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. They serve the absolute best omlettes that my wife and I have ever had made with fresh,local,free-range eggs from All Grass Farms. Least I forget...servers are super friendly and quick service adds to the overall Great cozy experience! Don't miss this place.

Have to be honest here. Looked cute, but also didn't really look very clean (very water damaged and dirty ceiling tiles, dusty vents, etc) and the ingredients were very sub par for what they charge. Tasteless potatoes, iceberg lettuce, store bought croutons, no parm on a Caesar Salad? The french toast tasted like other food, which makes me think the griddle isn't cleaned. Lemonade was fountain and extremely water downed. Wanted to like it, but sadly, won't go back. For 30 bucks I could have had a good meal with quality ingredients.

My daughter ordered Country Fried chicken and I ordered extra crispy corned beef hash, egg over hard and side of pancake. They delivered my food exactly how I ordered it. Very good pancakes. Everything's good. Highly recommended. On top of that you're patronizing a small local business.

Good breakfast, friendly server. Had corned beef hash skillet, with eggs and hash browns. Why is it that many restaurants serve hash browns with corned beef hash when there is enough potatoes in the hash?

We are in Algonquin about two times every year and we always go to Short Stacks every time we're in the area. They are great at handling our extended family of a dozen and the food is very good. My wife gets the Luke's breakfast sandwich every time, while I tend to try different things. Had the Fiesta Skillet today and it had the perfect amount of heat, balanced by the cheese and the avocado. With pancakes, of course!

Awe Bella’s.........what can one say about a perfectly quaint little diner in town, other than the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the wait staff is pleasant. Stop here for a fantastic breakfast, served like any good diner should with hash browns. I recommend the Belt Buster- eggs as you like- bacon or sausage (links or patties) hash browns and your choice- pancakes or toast. What more could you want for breakfast, other than waffles or crepes and they have those too!

Food and atmosphere was great. Reasonable price for the Quality and amount you get. Went with my son and daughter in law several times. Never disappointed.

My husband and I have been coming to Short Stack’s restaurant for five years now. We have never been disappointed in their food, service, or they’re friendly atmosphere. The waitresses are always friendly. Even during this pandemic, we still order pick up breakfast. My hands down favorite are the pancakes. Delicious!

Food was OK. Waitress had to be constantly reminded to bring stuff out more than once and forgot to fill drinks. Waited an hour to get 3 skillets. Won't be going here ever again.
